Along with counseling, teaching is my other passion. Currently I am an adjunct professor of Psychology at Valencia College in Winter Park and East Orlando where I teach hundreds of students a year the power of psychology for their personal lives and careers. I teach on topics ranging from Developmental and Abnormal Psychology to Positive Psychology. I’m thankful I get to develop my own curriculum and lectures and inspire my students with practical psychology they can apply to life.

My history with teaching extends all the way back to my pastoral counseling days at Discovery Church, where I managed a lay counseling ministry of lay therapists who provided over 1000 hours of free counseling a year to the local community. While there I taught weekly classes to congregants on subjects ranging from the impact our parents have on our mental health, all the way to the roll spirituality plays in our mental health.
